In today’s rapidly changing world, innovation is crucial for sustainability. The market is constantly evolving, and new technologies and products are introduced every day. Innovation is not just about creating new products or services, but also about improving existing ones and finding new ways to operate more efficiently. Continuous innovation is necessary to meet changing customer needs, keep up with new trends, and stay relevant in a highly competitive global marketplace.
The Propel Center
The Propel Center is a unique initiative that fosters innovation and sustainability, driven by its founding partners, Apple and Southern Company. Designed to be a hub for the entire Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) community, the Propel Center provides students with access to cutting-edge learning resources, tools, and skills that will help them shape the future of the nation’s talent pipeline and workforce.
Partnership with Ponix
The Propel Center’s four innovation pillars, namely, Propel Startup, Propel Arts & Entertainment, Propel Justice, and Propel, offer a comprehensive approach to innovation. In April 2021, the center partnered with Ponix to support their AgTech Pillar, which not only provides education and exposure to the future of farming but also addresses critical issues such as food insecurity in underserved communities, climate change, and economic opportunities.
By providing a robust virtual platform, on-campus activities, and a physical campus in the Atlanta University Center, the Propel Center offers a cutting-edge curriculum and leadership opportunities that help develop the next generation of Black leaders who are equipped with the skills and knowledge to tackle complex issues in their communities and beyond.
